With the introduction of its climate protection program GoGreen, Deutsche Post World Net is the first company in the logistics sector to set itself a specific carbon emissions target-to achieve a 30 percent improvement in the Group´s carbon efficiency by 2020.In other words, the Group plans to cut the carbon footrpint for every letter sent, every ton transported or square meter used in terminals, branches and offices by 30 percent ( compared to the base year 2007).
